Itinerary
Algeciras–Tangier–Chefchaouen
We will take the ferry to the port of Tangier and then drive on tarmac to the town of Chefchaouen, where we will spend the night and explore the town by night and in the morning.
Chefchaouen–Zaida
A day on tarmac crossing the foothills of the Middle Atlas, visiting cultural points of interest and the magnificent Cedar Forest.
Zaida–Mezourga–Hassilabiadd
We will drive on tarmac to the town of Mezourga, where we will begin our entry into the desert until we reach the village of Hassilabiadd; this will be our first contact with the desert.
Hassilabiadd–Hassilabiadd
Today we will start enjoying sand driving, following tracks, sand rivers and different zones, and visiting a nomad camp. We will have the afternoon to enjoy the area and will remain in the same accommodation and regime.
Hassilabiadd
Today we will focus on driving in the large dunes, developing sand‑driving skills with our vehicles, supported by our guide and desert collaborators.
Hassilabiadd–Zagora
A combined stage of tarmac and tracks where tracks will account for around 90% of the day—an emblematic, Dakar‑style day—until we reach the historic city of Zagora, once the starting point for caravans heading to Timbuktu.
Zagora–Marrakech
A full day on tarmac in which we will visit, among other sites, the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou (a UNESCO World Heritage site) before arriving in the city of Marrakech.
Marrakech
We will dedicate the day to visiting the city, its souks and emblematic sites and enjoy free time in the city, remaining in the same accommodation and regime.
Marrakech–Asilah
A full day on tarmac to reach the Atlantic town of Asilah.
Asilah–Port of Tangier–Algeciras
Our time in Morocco comes to an end. We will head to the port of Tangier to take the planned ferry, and on arrival in Algeciras we will conclude the trip.
