Itinerary
Puerto de Algeciras - Asilah
Today we cross the Strait and arrive at the Atlantic city of Asilah
Asilah - Marrakech
A full day on tarmac to reach the legendary Marrakech
Marrakech
We will spend the day exploring the city, the souks and places of interest
Marrakech - Zagora
Southbound visiting historic sites and World Heritage sites. Day on tarmac
Zagora - Mezourga
Desert day travelling tracks, salt lakes and sand ridges
Dunes and sand river
Day exploring the area enjoying sand driving. We stay at the same accommodation and celebrate New Year's Eve
Erg chebi
Day to enjoy the area, rest and options to hire quads or buggies
Mezourga - Zaida
We begin our return. Day on tarmac until we reach our accommodation
Zaida - Chechauem
Continue on tarmac until entering the Cedar Forest to observe its natural diversity, then head north visiting various historic sites
Chefchauem - Puerto de Tánger - Algeciras
Our final day: we will head for Puerto de Tánger and arrive at Algeciras where we will conclude the route
